Greetings Wildwood Members,
Fall Boat Removal- Our V-hull boats require 4 men to remove safely from the lake and store in our barn. Coordinating a day or days to perform this yearly task is normally done in October. The exact day(s) this will be done depends on weather and individual schedules. If you plan of fishing in October and prefer to use a V-hull boat, you may want to call our Caretaker to check if the V-Hull boats have been stored before arriving at the Club. We always leave one or two boats in the water early to mid-November based on the weather. Again, check with our Caretaker Jared if planning to fish in November for boat availability. Jared's cell phone talk or text- 570-851-9587 Fall Archery, Turkey and Small Game Hunting- Our loggers are continuing to work in our woods. If you plan on heading to the Club to enjoy archery, turkey or small game hunting please coordinate with our Caretaker Jared Zarnowski one day prior to hunting. Jared will be able to let you know where and when our loggers will be working so you can stay safely clear of that portion of our property. Jared's cell phone for talk or text- 570-851-9587 Rifle Range We are fortunate to have such a wonderful 100 yard range to enjoy year round for fun and to sight in our rifles and shotguns. Our loggers continue to work periodically in our woods and will be right up until rifle deer season. They will not cut in our woods during rifle deer season November 25- December 9, 2023 To keep all safe and to be courteous to Club hunters in our woods please keep rifle range usage to Sundays until after rifle deer season. Exceptions For Rifle Range Usage would be- 1. Loggers are not cutting in our woods that day. 2. No member's or their guests are hunting that day in our woods.-Check with our Caretaker, Jared prior to using the rifle range on Saturday or weekdays to see if loggers or hunters will be in our woods. 570-851-9587 Room Reservations- If you plan on staying at the Club at any time it is important that a room reservation, be made with our Caretaker Jared who will then communicate this to our Secretary for posting to our website. Last minute reservations are permitted but still must be communicated and recorded with our Caretaker and Secretary. This practice includes rifle deer season. Traditionally over the years the first three days of rifle deer have booked up early, but we do currently have a few open spots to sleep if you plan on hunting.
